HOW TO WIN AT RACES?
Everybody or
anybody who goes
to races , goes
with one implicit idea/ambition/aim to win and
earn some money (profit from betting). Those who
say they go
there for ‘ passing time/ enjoyment/entertainment’ etc are
suffering from delusion and need
corrective treatment from a psychiatrist!
From the very
first day , when I
visited a racecourse -
without knowing the
difference between a colt or a
gelding or a filly and
a mare my aim was only
to earn some
profit from this
game .
As usual,
betting on the
advice, recommendation, opinion
etc. of
others ( experts, friends, books
& race books etc.) – I
won sometimes and lost more number
of times which
was natural for any
newcomer or ‘intruder’
in this game.
After losing more money than winning
for several years – I decided to
understand and unravel this
game because if the knowledge
can reveal the millions year
old info about this world
and universe it will be
able to help in this
few hundred years
old puzzle…
And it did!!!
I spent hours,
days, months and several
decades to understand, unravel ONLY
the basics of this game – played
fairly by few ( now) and manipulated by many
most of the
times .
I PROCLAIM that howsoever, whatsoever, whensoever these
manipulators try ; they can
not fool you EVERTIME
– if you have the method
to deal with
them…
And what is
that method?
Develop strategy,
evaluation ( handicapping) system, betting
method and in a long
run you can be
a winner!!!.....(???)
I’ve done it . Before
the Bangalore summer
season - someone said
punters are confused , misguided etc.
I said I’ll post
my selections and ensure
they do not
lose. My aim was
to win 100k BY BETTING
ON ALL RACES
OF BANGALORE SUMMER SEASON AND
THOUGH I REACHED 56K ,
FINALLY I ended up with 22 points(Rs. 44,000)
I started same exercise
with Pune races. I WANT TO
WIN Rs. 100,000 by betting . 7
days racing is
over – MY BLOG SAYS ; I’M
PLUS 22 POINTS , MEANING Rs. 44,000.
I’LL CONTINUE
POSTING MY SELECTIONS TILL I WIN
Rs. 100,000 and may stop
after that…
Why?
Because I’ve no
interest in interacting
with idiots( losers)…

WHY PUNTERS LOSE ?
It is said
that horseracing is a ‘game of
skill’. Yes , it is. But many punters
do not agree, because they
can not differentiate
between ‘game of
skill’ and ‘betting
skill’.
To win a
game a player must
be proficient in that
game, knowledgeable, able to adept
quickly and easily to a situation and
KEEPS ON LEARNING till ‘retirement’ from the
game.
Does a often ‘losing’ punter ever
follows all or any
of these simple and basic
rules?
I can say
with conviction and with my own
experience that a ‘often losing
punter’ NEVER follows any
of these rules.
At present, horse racing
in India consists
of two parts -
racing as a sport to
win by trying to
prove the superiority of
breed, breeding methods, training
methods, riding skill and
few more; the second
part intertwined with it is
BETTING which has overpowered and neutralised all components of the
first part…
Why and how
it has happened – the reader
must find out himself to
remain viable…
Spoonfeeding will
not help!
Few months back , an
intelligent, knowledgeable person
opened a thread
- why present day punters lose , are more confused inspite of getting
all info, data, reports etc.
which was not
available in olden
days – before 2000…
More than 100
responses were published but NONE
could point out
the reason or offer
a remedy…
I entered racecourse
in 1973, betting
tenners or twenties
on DAYS BEST as per
the race book and over a
period 20 to 30 years
must have lost
500k to 1000K but like a stubborn ‘mule’ did
not give up…. Carried
on
improving my system, methodology, betting strategy etc. and
started getting ‘EVEN’ with the
adversaries…
With no professional
backup , no previous knowledge, no
connections, no information or advice I did
survive and started recovering ( only
from 2003) my lost ‘money’ after losing it more
than 30 years in 70s,80s &
90s because there
was no internet,
no help and no advice from experts or
novices…
My stubborn attitude has
enabled me to become
a winner from a perpetual
loser by realising that
TO WIN AND
MAKE MONEY FROM
RACING a punter must
have BETTING SKILL and that has
to be learned , understood and constantly improved to remain in
winner’s circle…
