babblers babble has more meaning...

The babblers babble makes less amusing reading than the experts rabble to dazzle by losing credibility by offering ‘smart’(not stupid) selections and trying to prove himself correct.

It is astonishing to note from which unknown source or write up or conversation our expert has picked up that Set Alight is the greatest filly ever raced in India declared by ‘some’ except from a statement made by me after her second successive defeat- sometime around 19 August 2009 while she has been winning races since feb 2008. It needs guts to say that and the conviction it carries and not the hearsay or fictitious opinion of some persecuted and prejudiced and disgraced jockeys.

Indian Triple crown is made up of Indian 2000G, Indian Derby and Indian St. Leger and ‘losing the second leg of triple crown ‘ does not mean that the runner has ‘won’ the first leg. If a person who claims to have been a part Indian horseracing scenerio for last few decades has to be explicitly told about these small things – only God can save Indian racing .

A new dimension is being innocuously added now that ‘ on Derby day she may have had some health issues’ Great – new dimension . A new topic for debate to skirt away the main issue . Hats off to the inventor of this new info and proves the dictum- human imagination has no bounds , nay , no limits …

Dear Mr Chanakya,

I once again make it clear that I am not interested in your incoherent babble. However, that does not mean I will let you get away with outright lies.

Your statement, namely, "A new dimension is being innocuously added now that ‘ on Derby day she [Set Alight] may have had some health issues’ Great – new dimension" is a lie.

For your information, I have raised this point publicly, as conclusion, in my article dated April 21, 2009 on my blog.

Here I reproduce the relevant part: It is a matter of conjecture why Set Alight on this occasion, despite racing in leisurely pace, could not produce three sub-12s in the last four furlongs. The reasons, generally, are lack of class, health or stamina.
Since we all know Set Alight is stuffed with class every ounce, it could be either health or stamina.
If it is health, she may not race for a long time now; if it is stamina, we will have to wait for confirmation until she runs 12 furlongs or more against worthy rivals.
I will wait until then before making further comments on this issue.

Mr Chanakya, you are welcome carry on your senseless babble and personal vicious agenda against me, but for God's sake, don't resort to lies just to substantiate your false accusations.

Dear Chanakya, i was quite surprised to see the comments made against you. In fact, in one of the columns of a leading portal, you had expressed your opinion about how the connections of Set Alight have a chance to go for the Triple Crown and also that you were amused why they choose not to do so. Perhaps, one should be aware of all these things before commenting and not single out a particular phrase. Mr. Gosavi claims to have predicted the downfall of Set Alight much before the Indian derby(rather, that she may have peaked too early in her career as a 3 year old). The same Mr. Gosavi had posted the headlines "Advantage Set Alight" on the derby day??

Dear Chanakya,

Your profile says "I still feel that there is lot more to learn, understand and master before I can say - yes I know or I knew!"

I suggest that getting into arguments and inane babbles, brinkmanship and "I know more" attitude is not going to make this blog a more happening place.

Your views and knowledge on bloodlines are respected, so are you, end this matter right here and carry on with what you do best and what we readers come here for.

thanks anonymous. I have made correction.

Mr. Naresh ,
thanks for the comments and bringing out the truth for theinfo of Mr Gosavi. His interview with Vijay Mallya and the article you have referred proves that he has different views at diffrent times .I'll definitely not use the word duplicity for him. I have never, on his blog expressed any opinion about him which can be termed uncivil but his remarks about other tell a tale which everybody can understand.I'll still retain my objectivity in dealing with him.

Mr. Sood,
thanks for your opinion and suggestions but I can not accept insinuations, abject disregard and disrespect by those who claim to be writers first and journalist later. they have much greater responsibility towards their reader to provide true, unbiased ,opinion as they are not bound by any contractual obligations to anyone! I try to do that.

Mr. Gosavi,
nice to read your opinion about fellow writers...
I tried to post my response on your blog , which is the correct place, in my opinion and did not try to fire from someone else shoulders but could not post it in full as the message came that it will not accept more than 4096 characters. therefore, I posted a truncated reply there and full reply is posted on my blog under the caption - babble no II.
I have no right to advise you and therefore, can only suggest that you can be more civil and polite in your responses unless some one has not behaved otherwise . Moreso we should have the ability to accept , though not agree to a different viewpoint.

Battle of oneupmanship.....You have taken words right out of my mouth....Mr Sood...I feel one should be talking about his work and personal findings irrespective of people's nitpicking, whoever they may be...

Mr.Jawnsin,
your remark/opinion/statement that either I or Mr Gosavi are trying oneupmanship is not correct. I don't know about your threshold of patience, but do you want everybody to ignore rhe words used for them - stupid, babbler, incoherent etc. I've written hundred of articles and perhaps replied more than1000 responses but never used uncivil words anytime . If you can provide a single instant where I've done it ,I'll tender unqualified, written apology to him but our common 'friend'still skirts the issue that he has used these words and now I must also say that he is also blabbering on his blog in reply to my response. Any way I want to close the matter now as I've better things to do than to respond to him.
