response to tiger

Tiger,
I don’t know your exact name - my mistake, but though you have raised some very valid points , the issues still remain.

We are not here to play a blame game but to find out the reasons for the failure of one of the ‘best performed’ runner of the season till 11th. April 2009!
Runners lose and win races ,all will agree but Squanderer’s and Elusive Pimpernel’s single loss becomes a matter of discussion, not by the punters but by few who take racing seriously and do not use ‘gimmicks’ to promote themselves.
Malesh, Pessi and few others can not be absolved of the Derby loss because this race can be compared frame by frame with other runs of this runner and the rides of the rider where he won on some of his mounts for a specific owner. . The rate of push, the speed, the posture in various races where he won and lost is available in public domain recorded in CDs and DVD’s . I’ve all of them.
Most of the Derby winners did not have a ‘pacemaker’ except MAM and you know a pace maker Noble Eagle – who changed his ownership few days before Derby and reverted to Original owner after Derby - has won the Derby . There was no hue and cry because the calculations of connections had gone awry!

Re : her run at Hyderabad ; she was ‘rested’ for almost 5 months – did not run a race during this period, and had few track works –published in race books or newspapers . these few tracks could not have ‘dulled’ her ‘ability’ as you said in 14 days she had several (perhaps 5 or 6 or 7 works) and travelled from Pune to Hyderabad.

Reminds me of another breed of thoroughbreds who run in USA . They have their Triple Crown races in May/June for 3 yeaonly -named Kentucky Derby(2000m), Preakness Stakes(1900m) and Belmont Stakes (2400m) and all the participants move from one center to other and some of them win one or two legs of this triple crown and ofcourse one lucky thoroughbred does win all three legs . The time period for all the three classics is as small as three weeks – i.e., a runner has to run once in 8 days and beat others .
In India , we pamper or coddle most of these TBs and find excuses for their defeat.

Mr. P rakash Gosavi , in his wisdom, has made several ‘amusing’ remarks .Perhaps he is undergoing crash course in English language with the help of a English professor! He is not able to read or understand correctly written words and calls them babble and those who write them as babblers .Well, I don’t want to use this blog for an reply and will use my own blog for a response and if Mr Gosavi desires it can be posted on his blog too- verbatim!

PS: I tried to post above on Tigers blog but inspite of giving my correct email ID and even the password it was 'rejected' .I don't know- why? Therfore, forced to publish here.
